SHIPS: Seismic Hazards Investigation in Puget Sound

Seismometers used in SHIPS Survey

Onshore seismometers will be left unattended in remote areas. If you come upon an instrument please do not disturb it or linger in the area. Ocean bottom seismometers should not be visible while deployed. If you come upon an OBS floating in the water or on a beach, please notify the consortium as soon as possible using the phone number on the OBS identification tag.
