Ground Failure
Massive rock avalanches off north-facing slopes of the Black Rapids Glacier valley. Though some landslides were spectacular in dimension, most were confined to a narrow zone within 30 kilometers of the fault rupture. This zone was much narrower than the zone of liquefaction effects.
