Equipment Used
tempsalinometer
Purpose
sampling multi-level groundwater samplers in shoreline
transects on north shore of Salt Pond for geochemical parameters,
collection of DOC/DIC and N2/Ar samples.
Information to be Derived
Samples and Chemical Analysis;
Summary
We collected in the range of 100 groundwater samples at the
land/sea interface. Colman (WRD) had nutrient analyses conducted.
Our group sent DOC/DIC samples to Univ California, Davis Stable
Isotope Facility. In addition, we analyzed N2 and Ar gas
concentrations by membrane inlet mass spectrometry.
Notes
3 days at sea.
Funding
