Summary
In situ Self-Logging Optical
Backscatter sensors (SLOBS) were deployed on the west side of Point Bolin, WA
and at Sandy Hook, WA. Surface grain size samples were collected at each site.
Notes
The Pt. Bolin SLOB was deployed in a Zostera marina bed (eelgrass) at
approximately -1.2 feet (MLLW) water with the sensor 7.5 inches above the
sediment surface. The Sandy Hook SLOB was deployed in a Z. marina bed
(eelgrass) at approximately -2 feet (MLLW) with the sensor 13 inches above the
sediment surface. Sensors cleaned weekly.
