          Sediment texture --- Medium coarse sand with pebbles (0.5 cm).  Dark coal
               layers, coarser than sand.  Possible cross bedding.
          Sedimentary surface features --- Ripples.
          Most abundant living fauna --- Sand dollar, amphipod, cyclocardia, moon snail.
          Paleontologic observation --- Cyclocardia, brachiopod, astarte, tachyrhynchus,
               astarte m., barnacle, Mya, sand dollar.  Shell fragments.
          Bivalve shells were oriented concave --- Down.
          Red granite --- No.
          Additional comments --- Barnacles not as common as in 46-63BS.  Fewer and
               smaller pebbles than in 46-63.  Core described by M. Colgan.  Core recorded
