                             Description of Depostional Interval  12 cm to 140 cm  
                             A. Color of unit: Medium grey - olive grey. 
                             B. Sediment texture:  Medium sand - low mud content for most of unit.  Some small layers with higher content of mud.  Shell hash - 1cm fragments to rounded sands.  Dropstones. 
                             C. Sedimentary structures: Massive - shells scattered with larger pieces concentrated near top but can appear throughout unit.  Dark - burrow(?), olive grey color, between 40-50cm. 
                             D. Paleontologic obsevervation: Shell fragments and "sands".  Unidentified - most appear to be bivalves - some sand dollar "sands".  Burrow (?) at 40-50cm.
                             E. Contact: Erosional - contains small clasts of underlying unit near contact.

                             A. Color of unit: Dark yellowish brown and dusky yellowish brown.

                             D. Paleontologic obsevervation: Worm burrows and vertical near top of unit filled with upper sediment.

                             Description of Depostional Interval  150 cm to 213 cm  
                             A. Color of unit: Upper 10cm dusky yellowish brown grades into medium grey. 
                             B. Sediment texture:  Medium to fine sands with muds - mud content increases at base and top of unit - sands fine upwards.  Occasional gravels to 12cm with 4mm common. 
                             C. Sedimentary structures: Massive - sands fine upwards. 
                             D. Paleontologic obsevervation: Minor amounts of shell "sands"

                             Description of Depostional Interval  213 cm to 219 cm  
                             A. Color of unit: Olive black and dusky yellowish brown. 
                             B. Sediment texture:  Silty mud and dropstonres - largest 5cm in lower unit.  Also fine sand in upper cms. 
                             C. Sedimentary structures: Faint horizontal laminations(?)  Coarsens upwards with increase of silt and fine sand.

                             B. Sediment texture:  Sand with mud.  Med. to fine grained - mafic rich - fining upwards.  Small 1mm size rounded "dropstones".
                             C. Sedimentary structures: Massive - many large inclusions of lower unit.  Possible forceful injection into lower unit below 315 cm. 
                             D. Paleontologic obsevervation: Worm burrow 305-311 cm.  A few mm organic grains.
