Title:
Geological and Geophysical data of field activity E-1-01-WO in Bonneville Reservoir, Columbia River from 08/03/2001 to 08/22/2001
Abstract:
United States Geological Survey, Woods Hole, Massachusetts,United States Geological Survey, Menlo Park, California,United States Geological Survey, Biological Resources Division, Columbia River Research Lab. Chief Scientist: Walter Barnhardt. Geological and Geophysical data (SIS1000, sidescansonar, VanVeengrab, underwatercamera, underwatertelevision) of field activity E-1-01-WO in Bonneville Reservoir, Columbia River from 08/03/2001 to 08/22/2001, <http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/e/e101wo/html/e-1-01-wo.meta.html>.
Supplemental_Information:

Equipment Used -
SIS1000 seismic/sidecan
sidescansonar DF 1000 sidescan
VanVeengrab SEABOSS grab sampler with video and still cameras
underwatercamera SEABOSS system
underwatertelevision SEABOSS system
Notes -
Columbia River Gorge is windy, with winds greater than
40 knots, gusts up to 50. Swells ran 8-10 feet, with a period of
about 2 s. Tough place to work in a 30 foot boat. August is not
the ideal month. Expect better conditions in spring/early summer.

Similar information is available for thousands of other USGS/CMG-related Activities.
If known, available are Activity-specific navigation, gravity, magnetics, bathymetry, seismic, and sampling data; track maps; and equipment information; as well as summary overviews, crew lists, and information about analog materials.
If available, access to physical samples is described in the "WR CMG Sample Distribution Policy" at: <http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/programs/html/main/sample-dist-policy.html>
Primary access to the USGS/CMG Information Bank's digital data, analog data, and metadata is provided through... <http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/>
