12/15/2010 Tracey Conrad and Brian Buczkowski delivered
three rock boxes labeled "Cruise HLY0905 ARCHIVE" and
three rock boxes labeled "HLY0609 Repository Samples"
for Jim Hein to InfoBank. The content list for each box
will be entered into InfoBank to appear in the analog holdings
of this field activity.
5/18/2010 photographs were taken of item (box) #197127 and #197134.
Files 197127_a.jpg, 197127_b.jpg, and 197134.jpg
3/5/2010 Jim Hein and I (Tracey Conrad) went to the where house and
looked at all of the samples stored there for HLY0905. We removed the
following samples:
Box 197125 Sample #DS4-003 - We took the entire large sample and
brought the box back to the USGS too. We will be cutting the sample
and returning a portion of it in the box to the warehouse. I will
let you know once this is done.
Box 197120 - We removed samples DS3-009 and DS4-006 from this box
Box 197136 , or 19718 we removed 1 piece of DS4-003 from one of these
boxes, two pieces remained in that box, and we did not take any of
DS4-003 out of the other box. I'm sorry I do not know which one it
was.
Several of the other boxes had multiple pieces from one sample number
nd we removed 1 or 2 pieces.
S3-058 we took 2 pieces,
DS3-059 we took 3 pieces,
DS3-060 we took 3 pieces,
DS4-004 we took 1 large piece,
DS5-041 we took 1 crust out of a bag with many metaseds.
DS5-042 we took 1 crust out of a bag with many metaseds.
