tidemeter
tempsalinometer
piezometer
Purpose
Determine flux and patterns of submarine groundwater discharge and associated
nutrients/contaminants to nearshore habitats and their role in conditioning
juvenile Chinook salmon habitat
Information to be Derived
Ra/Rn activities and nutrient concentrations in surface water and groundwater,
electrical resistivity cross-sections below sediment-water interface along 100
m transects, temperature and salinity information along transects away from
Skagit River through Deception Pass.
Notes
Electrical resistivity cable, Rad7 radon detector, EM seepage meter, piezometer,
tide gauge, YSI temperature, salinity sensor
