Summary

Using the hull-mounted Knudsen 320BR
|
|
deepwater echosounder on the Oceanus,
|
|
approximately 1065 km of 3.5 kHz sub-bottom data
|
|
were collected over the 6 days of the cruise
|
|
(see map). Data were acquired in both Knudsen
|
|
proprietary binary format (.keb) viewable only
|
|
in the Knudsen Post Survey software and in
|
|
standard SEG-Y format for later processing.
|
|
Multibeam data was not collected in the survey
|
|
area because of technical problems with the
|
|
RESON multibeam sonar aboard the Sentry.
|
|
|

This is part of a WHOI enginerring
|
|
testing cruise. The full cruise report is being
|
|
prepared by Drs. Chris German and Dana Yoerger.
|
|
