Room Inorganic Geochemistry Instrument Laboratory

Description This laboratory is set up for the analysis of U-series isotopes by alpha spectroscopy. There are seven two bank alpha spectrometers connected through a mixer-router and computer interface to a multi-channel analyzer.
This laboratory is also set up to extract through dissolution and fractional precipitation, separate through liquid chromatography, and purify through solvent extraction U-series isotopes for measurement by alpha or mass spectroscopy.
