Within InfoBank, data are organized based on a Field Activity.
Each Field Activity has a four-component ID that represents the platform, leg, year, and region.
Other IDs may also be associated with the Field Activity.
An Activity ID can be used to directly reference a Field Activity.
Frequently, only a partial ID is known.
To find Activites based on partial knowledge of the ID, IDs are also organized:
- by platform name, such as ship, aircraft, beach;
- by year of the activity;
- by general geographic region of the activity; and
- by participants in the activity.
Activities and data where the platform, year, or region are unknown are accessible as incomplete IDs.
