The U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park is hosting an Open House, May 15 - 17, 2009.
At the USGS Open House, a very popular interactive activity is "Dress Like a Marine Geologist." Participants don maritime field attire and are image captured against a green screen background. Using the Macintosh Photo Booth application, an "at sea" scene replaces the background. The image is placed on the web.
