Description
Subroutine to determine the distance (in meters)
given the time and speed (in knots) between two positions.

USAGE
"a" = argument, "r" = referenced, "s" = set
call getspeed (with the following arguments)
Time1 [variable i*4 r]
Time2 [variable i*4 r]
Speed [variable r*8 r]
Distance [variable r*8 sr]

FUNCTIONS
min (FORTRAN intrinsic function)
max (FORTRAN intrinsic function)
abs (FORTRAN intrinsic function)

LIMITATIONS
Times are input in integer tenths of a second since start of year.
Times are over 6 months apart are assumed to be crossing a year
boundary.
When crossing year boundaries the older year is assumed to be a
nonleap year unless the older time is in day 366.
The two input times need not be sequential.
Identical input times result in a SPEED value of 0.0
If either input time is invalid, the SPEED value will be 0.0
Distance must be in meters.
