Cruise R1-01-WA of the NOAA ship Rainier was
a joint cruise of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to investigate how the
three major deltas in southern Puget Sound faired during the
magnitude 6.8 Nisqually earthquake of February 28, 2001.
