Equipment Used
Navigation - GPS
Navigation - HYPACK
Seismic reflection - boom (er)
Sidescan
EdgeTech Sonar
water column imaging
GPR 25 MHz
Purpose
Map methane seeps. Inclusive dates start when equipment will have to be
shipped for work to take place in July 2010, probably roughly 5 July
through 20 July for field dates.
Information to be Derived
Seismic;Bathymetry;Other geophysical;Chirp seismic--definiteSparker
possible offshore if native boat can accommodate (will talk to Tommy)
Fishfinder type sonar/83 kHz (Ruppel has)GPR possible in lakes (will not
work offshore)True sonar would be helpful for offshore portion if boat can
accommodate
