Fate of Dredge Disposal Material and Polluted Sediment, Offshore Honolulu, Hawaii |

K-1-93-HW Seismic Profiles, Trackline 5aA 3.5 kHz profile from line 5 across the eastern portion of the former Honolulu Harbor disposal site showing undulating bedforms. The bedforms start within the eastern most edge of the high backscatter feature associated with the former Honolulu Harbor disposal site. The bedforms extend east nearly 2 km beyond the high backscatter deposit into the low backscatter seafloor, thus suggesting that they result from natural rather than anthropogenic processes.
