Product Summary

NavMetrics is a YoNav client application that displays a graphic and or textual representation of speed, heading, course made good or depth. Key features are:

• Large Readable Text and Graph
  NavMetrics provides a resizable graph and or text view of any of the supported navigation parameters.
• Runs across the network
  Since NavMetrics is a YoNav client application, the source of the data is the YoNav server which means that NavMetrics can execute on any PC on the shipboard network.
• Multi-instance
  NavMetrics can run as a multi-instance application allowing one to configure many different instances of the application to display different parameters of different views at the same time.

The data can be displayed in graph only mode as depicted above, or in combination large text and graph as shown below.

Finally, the data can be displayed as text only. We have found this tool to be useful especially side-scanning sonar operations on small boats where one often needs to see a large text view of the water depth or vessel speed from the operations deck. The NavMetrics window resizes the graph and text to the users choice allowing the text to be very readable from a considerable distance.

The dialog above illustrates the controls available to the user to configure exactly what is displayed, as well as how to display it.
