Equipment Used
Collect hydraulically damped gravity cores and bottom water
for the study of metals in contaminated sediments. Bottom water
will be collected for dissolved oxygen determinations
Information to be Derived
Samples and Chemical Analysis;
Two cores were collected from Station 2 Nine cores were
collected from Station 3
Navigation technique: DGPS provided by the Coast Guard.
Coring equipment worked well. All required samples were collected. 2921BOF71 Geo Processes Environmental Change in Northeast US 1 days at sea. 2 stations occupied.
