Conduct a Pre-Hurricane Season survey to document the coast and survey the
water conditions on June 17, 1998.
Information to be Derived
Collect baseline documents for analysis of coastal change due to extreme storms.
4 mini DV tapes burned onto 2 DVDs; 34 Rolls of film (approximately 1,218
Digitized by Janice Subino.
Video navigation fixes were acquired using Optical Character Recognition and
were then interpolated for each second for which a known fix is not available
using AVIsynth & Excel. Analog and digital data are stored at the USGS St.
Petersburg Office in the Extreme Storm Impact Event storage facility. Slides
are stored in Room 128 & videos (DVDs) are stored in room 254. Digital version
of the data also exists online on the internal St. Petersburg Lidar server.
