These scanned copies suggest that these data were collected under USGS OCS Permit 79-33, however, deeper research shows that permits 79-31 and 79-33 were collected together by Western, the smaller survey was Proprietary (79-31), and the longer as a speculative survey (79-33). The data from 79-31 and 79-33 were selected together, and because they were both acquired by Western in the same area, the data were mixed together. This is supported by our internal memo of 27 March 1980.
