Identifier Filter

This filter uses the name, aliases, activity name, and activity aliases of each survey to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

Recently Added Filter

This filter uses the published date of each survey to check if it falls within the range of the selected time scale.

Year of Acquisition Filter

This filter uses the start date and end date of each survey to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

Find surveys that match a keyword range. Keywords are seperated by two periods without spaces.

Data Type Filter

This filter uses the data type of each survey to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

Contributor Filter

Data Acquisition System Filter

This filter uses the data acquisition system and data acquisition system aliases of each survey to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

Vessel Filter

This filter uses the vessel and vessel aliases of each survey to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

Planning Area Filter

This filter uses the name of the planning area to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

The filter then uses the geometry of each survey and planning area to determine if they intersect.

Protraction Area Filter

This filter uses the name of the protraction area to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

The filter then uses the geometry of each survey and protraction area to determine if they intersect.

Trackline Name Filter

This filter uses the name of each trackline to match the keywords. All matches are case-insensitive. Available search operators are listed below.

Find surveys that match one of several keywords.

Example: F286-22 OR F287-37

This filter only displays the matched tracklines instead of all the tracklines that belong to a survey.

Note: This filter is AND'ed together with the other filters in the form.

Note using Internet Explorer: with some versions of Internet Explorer, you may need to turn off "Combatibility Mode" to view the map on the right. In the "Tools" menu bar, select "Compatibility View Settings" to adjust the settings.

Select Surveys

1. Single click on the map to select surveys (displayed in magenta) that are nearby and list them in the "Surveys" tab. The nearby search area will be shown on the map by a blue circle.

2. In the "Surveys" tab, mouseover survey name in list to highlight survey on map (displayed in orange).

3. Click on survey name in list to view more survey details and highlight on map (displayed in yellow).

4. Click on "Open survey page in new tab" link for data and all other information.

Filter Surveys

1. Select the "Filters" tab.

2. Enter keywords into the form.

3. Click the "Filter" button to update the map.

4. Click the "Clear" button to clear the form and show all surveys.

Map Controls

To zoom, click the +/- buttons in the upper left corner of the map, use the mouse scroll wheel, or press and hold the shift key and click and drag the mouse.

To pan, click map and drag.
